Our Wedding

Our story began on August 13, 2020, when we both moved across the country to attend Arizona State University and ended up living in the Hassayampa dorms, with our rooms directly across from each other. Jack was the first person I met in college, and his easygoing personality quickly won me over.We officially started dating that Halloween—Jack dressed as Secret Service for his fraternity president, and I was dressed as Julien from Trailer Park Boys, goatee included. A little liquid courage gave Jack the confidence to finally ask me to be his girlfriend.Six years, three rental houses, and a lot of memories later, we bought our first home together. Not long after, Jack proposed during a trip to Minnesota. He told me we were going fishing, led me out onto the lake, and asked me to marry him.And now, here we are! We’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter with the people we love and can’t wait to see what’s aheadMadi

Cocktail attire is requested for our desert celebration. Think polished and dressy, but comfortable enough for an outdoor setting. Since we’ll be surrounded by the desert landscape, earthy, warm, and neutral tones are encouraged but certainly not required. The wedding party will be wearing green, so we kindly ask guests to avoid green if possible. White is strictly off-limits. If you do choose to wear white, just know that our bridesmaids will be armed with squirt guns filled with red wine. They are highly trained.
